Sometimes you find that deleting photos from your electronic devices can be a more difficult task then you anticipate. This guide can help you get them off the most common devices you own easily and quickly.
If the photos are on your computer, you first need to determine where the photographs are located. Most of the time, they will be in "my documents" if you're using the windows operating system. To find this folder, click on the left corner of your screen at the bottom where it says start and then open documents and finally my documents. Once you have completed the steps, you should see the photos you want to remove.
From there you will select the photo that you wish to delete, click on it once and then right click and select delete. While this sounds complicated, a few practice clicks will give you practice to be able to do this like a pro. Although it won't remove every trace of the photo, so don't rely on this technique if you never want anyone to see that picture again.
To permanently remove the photos, exit out of "my document" with the red X. In the upper right corner, then go to your desktop which is the main page you see when you turn your computer on. Find the trash can here, then once again right click to open up another menu and select empty the recycle bin there. The steps that have been outlined will also work for other removable media sources, such as memory sticks from and IMs and emails.
To remove photos from your camera, you can review them through the menu and decide to delete them from the device at that time. Most cameras will require you to confirm that you want to leave them, but once it is done they will be removed from the memory. You can also attach the camera to your computer and remove them with the steps outlined above.
Deleting photos from your electronic devices is a relatively easy process if you take your time to break the steps down into manageable parts. You are not stuck with keeping photographs that you do not want and a few clicks of your mouse can quickly get rid of them for you.
